Our high-precision micro EDM systems enable the erosion of the smallest individual parts. By using wire diameters of 20 µm, slots 50 µm wide can be produced with a tolerance of < 5 µm. We use electrodes with a diameter of up to 0.05 mm on our micro drill EDM machines. An integrated dressing unit also enables the production of electrodes with a diameter of 0.01 mm, which means that micro holes of 0.05 mm and smaller can be produced, depending on the material thickness.
