Spark erosion drilling

Drill EDM is a special application of die-sinking EDM (also known as spark erosion drilling or start hole drilling) and is used in particular when high feed rates are required. During the production process, the electrode rotates, which leads to uniform burn-off and rapid removal of material from the workpiece.

Drilling for complex components made of difficult-to-machine materials

With the usual care, CFK produces precise bores with a diameter of 0.35 to 7.5 mm and a height of 800 mm on 3- and 5-axis machines.
