Drill erosion is particularly useful for the production of starting holes for wire erosion processes. These starting holes allow us to insert the wire for wire EDM into the workpiece without affecting the material structure. We also use drill EDM for the production of through and blind holes in hard metals and alloys, which are often used in medical technology and mechanical engineering.
